Thought this was an adorable flim. Reading some critics comments, it seems that the main thing they hated was the slow pacing. Personally, I enjoy slow paced movies if they are done well. I think it's done well in this movie. I think the issue is the advertisement, which made the movie seemed more of funny, light-hearted comedy. I think certain people were expecting something different, me included. I also think the issue was that there was too many elements in the movie. Was it meant to be funny or sad? What was the main theme of the movie? That being said, I still think it was a good movie and giving it a 50 percent on rotten tomatoes is kind of harsh. This is in no way a bad movie

Personally I think they should shift to an anthology format with SHOGUN, as each entry in the 'Asian Saga' book series takes place in different eras featuring different characters but a shared history. Forcing Blackthorne & Toranaga back for season 2 would actually create the Game of Thrones problem since their stories end with Shogun. However if done right, Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis & Anna Sawai could all return as different characters a la American Horror Story. (Or in a 'framing' prologue for season 2.) This should be their series bible: Season 1 - SHOGUN Season 2 - Shogun: GAI JIN Season 3 - NOBLE HOUSE Season 4 - Noble House: TAI PAN Season 5 - The King Rat Season 6 - Noble House: WHIRLWIND

29:46 ok, so Ubisoft is releasing a new Assassins Creed game, based off this exact story! I think that will hurt the video game adaptation, mainly bc Shogun has done it already, and they do it good.

I'm definitely sitting this one out. Not only isn't the story not interesting, but Ryan Reynolds has long since worn out his welcome with me. But thanks for the review nonetheless. 😁😁

Just watched it for free and it's a shame that these actress got this crappy script. Grace we have been saying for ever that there are so many people writing these movies and shows that have an agenda and are not a fan of the comics thus we have been getting this nonsense.

I think Fury Road was a great movie but I don’t think it pioneered blockbuster movies making it into Best Picture at the Oscar’s because they have done this for a long time it happened with Jaws, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Arc, E.T., Lord of the Ring Trilogy, Avatar, District 9, Inception, Toy Story 3, Black Panther, Dune and I think Mad Max also fits into this but the academy has done this before Mad Max

Hollywood's greed has always been its downfall, but the important part of the Shogun S2-S3 news is that they will not continue if they can not find a good story to go forward. When I read the book years ago I did want to know more of what happened to the characters, so hopefully if it does move forward. that means they did get a good story for us to enjoy.

During the Big Bang Theory, Chuck Lorre and the writers repeatedly denied that Sheldon had autism, OCD, or any other neuro-atypicality. This was likely because Sheldon was never meant to be the focus of the show and any jokes about him could have come across as mean spirited.

I hope they get confirmed for a third season! Season 2 was spectacular I feel like it delivered in giving us a universe where Greek gods are bad asses!
